SVH Policies
New Client Appointments: A scheduling fee is required prior to scheduling initial appointments for new clients. This fee will go towards the exam fee for the pet. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 business hours prior to the appointment time at no additional expense. All cancellations or reschedules less than 24 hours prior will result in the forfeit of the scheduling fee and a new scheduling fee must be paid prior to scheduling additional appointment times.
Cancellations: For all established clients, a scheduling fee will be required to make any appointment IF the client has acquired more than 3 appointment cancellations that occurred less than 24 business hours prior to the appointment time.
Prescription Refills: Please allow 48 business hours from the time of your request for the medication to be filled and ready.
Specialist Appointments: A $100 deposit is required prior to scheduling any and all specialist appointments.
Pre-Surgical: A $200 deposit is required prior to scheduling any and all surgical or anesthetic procedures.
Boarding/Hospitalization/Drop Off: Pets must be up to date on all core vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella for dogs and Rabies and FVRCP for cats). They must have a negative intestinal parasite screening within the past year and they need to be free of external parasites. This is to prevent the spread of illness to other pets staying in the hospital. If external parasites are found on the pet during their stay, they will be treated at the owner's expense.
