We are a full service, small animal hospital in the heart of Virginia Beach. Our caring veterinarians offer a combined experience of over 60 years of knowledge and passion, and we are looking for a like-minded individual to complete our practice. We are dedicated to the highest quality care of our patients as well as the ongoing education of our pet owners. Our hospital is comfortable, kid-friendly, and provides a spacious lobby and pleasant atmosphere for pets and pet parents alike. We offer an array of services including physical exams, preventative medicine, dental and surgical services, cold laser therapy, and bath and boarding. We also provide excellent care to walk-in emergencies during our regular business hours. Our practice is equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, updated dental and surgical equipment, as well as a knowledgeable team.
Veterinarian
Veterinarians pursuing this position should be compassionate, innovative, and analytical thinkers. Organization and good communication skills are important. We are seeking knowledgeable individuals who embrace collaboration, maintain open-mindedness, and are committed to first-rate patient care.
Requirements:
Veterinary license and eligibility to practice in Virginia
Education: Doctorate, DVM
At least two years of experience preferred, however new graduates are encouraged to apply
Full-time or Part-time
Experience with CornerStone is a plus!
Veterinary Assistant
Seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Veterinary Assistant at an established Veterinary practice in Virginia Beach, VA. Two (2) years or more experience in the veterinary field are required. Qualified Veterinary Education Participants may be considered. Hours may include some weekends and holidays.
Successful candidates will have a willingness to learn, strong technical skills, be reliable, and work well in a team environment. This is a physical job that requires proper animal handling skills and the lifting of animals, some over 50 pounds. Duties include: Handling and restraining of animals during examinations and surgeries, surgical preparation and assistance, anesthetic monitoring, radiology, cytology and laboratory procedures, sample collection and processing, nursing care, injections and surgical after care, hospital and kennel maintenance, client education.
